  • Make sure to understand the cause of your pain.

  • Stretches

  • Regular exercise

  • Mattress and Pillow

  • Seek the advice from a professional

Make sure to understand the cause of your pain.

Before doing anything it is important for you to understand what triggers the pain. Have you been put a lot under pressure at work or in a relationship? Have you noticed that you might grind your teeth at night? Does the pain strengthen after you’ve slept? Are you working at a desk all day? Is your chair correctly adjusted? Do you look at your phone continuously? etc…

All those factors can cause your body to ache, once you’ve understood what causes it, you’ll be able, in parallel to this article, to work on that issue and get rid of those tensions for a long long while.

Stretches.

Of course, you might say. As much as it might be obvious, a lot of people don’t actually do the correct stretches and then the release lasts very shortly. Here are some nice videos explaining you what to do. (English subtitles available).

Regular exercise.

I knew you wouldn't like this one but I bet you already knew. Yes, it comes as no surprise that exercising is a good way to avoid feeling tight. Activities like Yoga, swimming, and Pilate could help your body feel less achy.

Mattress and Pillow.

I know that a good bed can be very expensive but it is so worth it. Not only are you going to get less morning pain from sleeping on an average bad bed, but also you’re going to feel so much more energetic. Sleep is too important to be neglected. This should be one of your basic acts of kindness to yourself. So let’s all go on Emma’s website and finally get what we truly deserve.

Seek advice from a professional.

If all those tips don’t help, it would be good to check with your doctor what could be causing these pains.
